  • Guidance for 2026 reiterated

“The third quarter delivered record lending growth of 959 MNOK and a 36 % increase in profit before tax year on year. Total income rose 48 % while operating expenses rose 26 %, and the scalability of our platform continues to show in the numbers. Our German credit card business has become the bank’s strongest growth engine. We reiterate our guidance for 2026, and with our strategy towards 2030 we are setting the course for the next phase of profitable growth,” says Robert Berg, CEO of Instabank.

Outlook:

Lending growth of 2,568 MNOK and profit after tax of 120.7 MNOK in the first nine months, up 60 % from the same period last year, support the guidance of 3,000–3,500 MNOK in lending growth and 160–185 MNOK in profit after tax for 2026.

Strategic ambitions:

The Board has endorsed an ambition to grow gross loans to approximately 30 billion NOK by 2030, with a return on equity above 22 %, a cost-to-income ratio of at most 30 % and profit after tax above 800 MNOK. These are ambitions and do not constitute guidance.
